Default Forge-Revo Chips ?

I am probably coming in really late with this one but.... just for info, I have done some checking with Forge Motorsport about their REVO product.

This system is designed to re-program your ECU without any physical intervention within the ECU other than a connection to the "under dash" diagnostics port. They have a number of options starting from £499+vat with the popular one being a boost to around 250/260bhp and the supply of a switch box (an additional £150+vat) that allows you to revert the program back to standard tune (for servicing etc). Its all totally hidden and undetectable on Audi diagnostics kit.

It all sounds a bit too good to be true, but I really want one!

Has anyone out there tried this product that could provide some feedback as Forge didn't have any tested figures for a 210bhp 2001 S3.

cheers
Andy

Default No, haven't tried it but Im very tempted.. Looks like a sweet setup

but I wish it was like the subbie setup which allows people to change everything.. Forge will only allow you to change boost and timing settings from what I understand..

Default My understanding will be that there will be 2 different versions.....

Once that will have parameters that are built in so that you will not be able to really damage anything. The other will be closer to to standalone in that you can program timing, wastegate control, duty cycle etc....

Default Re: What is the poing of changing adv timing if you cant add more fuel

This option allows timing changes to be made for the specific fuel octane being used etc.

Mark..
