Forged pistons
If you are starting with a non-turbo and adding the turbo, yeah, you'll want forged pistons, and they will need to be a different compression ratio from non-turbo.
Just replacing cast pistons, which are probably hypereutectic anyway, with forged is a waste of money unless you plan to make 50-100% more power than stock. You know that forged pistons need to be fit looser, so they are noiser until the engine is warmed up. They are only better than cast when the power (and heat) is really turned up.
If you were adding NOS of up to 75 hp or so to a NON-turbo 1.8, stock pistons should be fine. If you are doing a 125 or more NOS shot, you need more than pistons! Same if you are thinking of NOSing a turbo.
JE is excellent, but they tend to be US V8 oriented more than German 1.8's. Mahle comes to mind as a good provider.

You'll have to tell them what you want to run for compression. After measuring the stock setup, it was about 8.8:1 (IIRC - I posted about it previously)
Mine are spec'd for a 2.0 with a 9:1 compression.<ul><li><a href="http://www.jrcmotorsports.com/index2.html">http://www.jrcmotorsports.com/index2.html</a></li></ul>
