Has anyone used this kit? For 300 USD is it really worth it for street use? I dont believe so.

Žob 04-15-2001 03:43 PM

It is if you run some serious drop and need to adjust your camber

WClark 04-15-2001 04:51 PM

There is no rocket science to most of these...must mean Audi is finaly a volume car

Somehow I would think this would be more interesting to race guys looking for more camber, rather than street guys looking for less.

like 60mm or more i take it.

No, strongly disagree.

The A4tqms I run needs the camber kit to run a flat tire *period*: The problem is it knocks me right into SP. The basic chassis has no proper camber, causing the tire to overheat on the outside and not use the inside, and it only get worse when racing. Other than the massive weight, this IMHO is the real impediment to competition with this car.

Agreed

My car with just Eibach springs and Bilstein shock is at the limit on streetable camber. I have about 1.5 degrees of camber. Any more, I'd be getting some unacceptable tire wear.

How much did you lower it from Stock Susp.?
