Recently in winter the Gear shifter button got stuck in Park "P" and took considerble playing around to move to drive mode. After a Diagnosis, Audi stated a new Gear ****, button and sleeve and charged $160 for parts $140 for labor. In 1 day the problem returned. I called the dealer and they told me to bring it back. Now they told me it could be a switch from brake to gear, $100, or replace gear system $1000+. They advised to taker the $100 route first. 1 day after the job, again car stuck in "P". Ive already spent $400, 6 days dropping and picking up the car, and aggrevation, and now IM expected to pay $1000+ for the third try, which Im not even certain is going to resolve the issue. Has anyone encountered a similar issue?

Am i entititled to a refund on the first $400. Clearly they havent identified the issue, and so far Im paying for parts I dont need and labor, and how do I know they arent going to quote me a new price to cover labour and parts again without any type of discount?
