Default $2.00 solution

Here is how I found my leak. Pretty simple to make and use. I placed it before the intercooler. Take the lower hose off of the crossmember tube and clamp this in place. Use duct tape as shown to get a good fit. Hook it up to the air compressor at 15psi and you can now spend the next 30 seconds figuring out where your leak is.

If this doesn't identify your leak, that means your leak is on the turbo side of the engine bay. The best way to test for that is to remove the hose that goes from the turbo to the crossmember and inspect for tears.

I can't imagine doing it any other way.

Default I have something very similar to that......

but it goes on after the MAF. I remove the PCV tube from the intake Y pipe & plug it there, and pop off the TBB, insert a thick piece of plastic, & reinstall it. That way, it checks the whole intake, reducing your possible problems to the manifold, injectors, O2 sensors/exhaust leaks, BPV's, or the infamous MAF itself.

Default No, will have to do it next week -- i have summer finals in the next few days

The problem is getting worse by the day. I feel like im more or less running all motor at this point. I can barely hear the bpv at all at this point.
