Default Going from NA to Turbo on 3.2 v6

2007 A4 3.2 V6, no mods at all on it. It's already a high compression engine so adding a turbo would cause it to detonate like a mf'r, right? Is there a way to either tune that turbo to add a little more psi to the engine on top of the 14.7 psia it's already getting? Not to double the pressure by any means but hell cant that engine handle more than 14.7 psia??? Looking to up that AFR for boost. Also do I sound like a ****ing idiot, thanks.

Not worth it, just buy another car with more power. Complicated swap for a talented do it yourselfer, prohibitively expensive to pay someone else. The best bang for the buck would be Snow Performance methanol injection or a nitrous system from NOS.
