Default Greddy Turbo Timer-- Do they make a wiring harness for the A4?

I was looking into buying a Greddy turbo timer because I love how it matches the audi's interior.

I was told that they don't make a wiring harness for the A4 however. Any ideas or solutions?

Default Any electronics components store should carry it...

It looks like a loose woven tube of meshlike nylon fabric. It's usually black in color.

From my experience, you could do without extra nylon webbing, just use the hockey stick tape.

Default Were you planning on doing the install yourself?

I did the install on mine and if your not good at things like that, I wouldn't recommend it. It's not the hardest thing in the world, but some people get it, some people don't. I made it, but it took the most part of the day.

If there is any shop that can do it, I would take it to them if I had to do it again, along with the printout of the TT FAQ. I wouldn't want anyone turning my car in to a guinea pig.

Actually Autothority (www.autothority.com) has designed one and has sent the specs out for massproduction of a harness for the A4. It was designed to turn on the stock alarm after shutting off the car. They didn't have a time frame on when it would be available for sale, but if you contact them they will notify you when they are.

Default Yep the hockey stick tape is the bomb...the nylon loom was just from me being totally OCD about how

my car looks...I even fret over the parts you can't even see ;-)
