H&R springs for an Avant fit on a Sedan?

H&R springs for an Avant fit on a Sedan?
Does anyone know if H&R springs made for a 1.8T Quattro work on a 1.8T Quattro sedan? I am assuming the fit will be the same, but since the Avant weights more will the ride height be higher??
What's the best bang for the buck on shock upgrades?
Thanks-

Re: H&R springs for an Avant fit on a Sedan?
I could be wrong but I believe the H&R sport springs are the same for Avant and sedan. The race springs have one for each and I think the coilovers do too but not the sport springs. Doesn't make sense to me but I thought I remember someone telling me this when I was checking them out too.

This is correct.
The H&R Sport springs are the same for all the quattro models, engine and body make no difference. The H&R Race springs differ for the sedan and the Avant.
I have the sport springs on my Avant and I like them. I did have to enlarge the rear anti-roll bar to get a nice balance. It's a Neuspeed 22mm rear bar. I went with Bilstien shocks raised a couple clicks in back. Looks and works great.
Good luck,
Rich
