the car will run on whatever octane you put in it but is designed to use a
certain level or higher. If you throw in 100 octane and have 93 chip setting it is going to make a difference but not as much compared to having chip tuning for 100 octane. I think 104 is leaded though????

104 is a sunoco unleaded race fuel
running it straight on a 93 octane chip is actually going to hurt since the adv timing will be to late. VP also has a new unleaded fuel which is 105 octane with a 101 motor octane rating.

Depends on a few things. Some chips like the GIAC X chip
allows the chip to add adv timing. The only time you will gain power while running 100 octane on a 93 octane chip is if the car is already pulling back timing on the 93 octane fuel.
