sometime, maybe you could help me with your expertise. I'm running a T3/T4 w/ all the goodies on it except a FMIC. I got the injectors and pretty much everything else to make this car run strong. I'm having a serious problem w/ the chip. I got the injectors and chip w/ ATP. The car is running rich, burning like a diesel truck, it sucks. For some reason the shop that is doing all for me is having a hard time w/ ATP as far getting the bugs out (don't return phone calls). The car is down for about 2 wks now. I know is very complex doing a custom setup and just getting a chip that would understand what the car has. Do you know of any manufacturer that does custom chips? Is it possible to describe what the kit consists of and someone just burn the chip for this particular setup? I really need some help on this. =(

Note. The kit is not from ATP.
Kit consists of T3/T4, exhaust manifold, Tial external wastegate, HKS intake, 2.5 turbo back (HKS)no cat.

Why don't you start with a GT25 chip from GIAC?
The one that he did for Lucas originally was designed for 310cc injectors (if I remember correctly) and was the chip that I was going with if I was going to follow through on the T3/T04E install.

I think the injectors that I have are either 440 or 470cc, I'm not
really sure. I don't know if that particular GIAC would work. Which injectors were u gonna go with?

GIAC does custom chips based on injector size
I think 440cc@3bar injectors will max out around 320hp when operating at 4bar. To get the full potential of a T3/T4 you'll probably need more fuel and the stock MAF is anothre brickwall. I know he has done programming for T3/T4 in teh past.

I know a guy is selling his Apexi Fuel and Boost controller cheap. Email me if you're interested.
He used to have a T3/T4 setup in his car, but he has now gone to a bigger turbo and is using the new AEM engine management system. I can get you in contact with him. I think you can buy his old ECU too that runs in conjunction with the fuel/boost controllers. Just drop me an email.

Who exactly should I call for that info? AWE said GIAC does
not make for the T3/T4E setup. Are the injectors the only factor of the whole setup for a custom chip? I'm blind when it comes to chip issues.

No they don't make any kits but Garrett does make custom chips for $$$. However I have to remind you that if you have a ATP manifold he won't touch it with a 10ft pole.<ul><li><a href="http://www.giacusa.com/">http://www.giacusa.com/</a</li></ul>
