Want performance cat to replace factory item. I have a Scorpion (STW) cat back exhaust and am looking for a performance cat to fit to it. The problem II've got however is that my Scorpion exhaust has a bore of 55mm or 2 1/4 inches whereas those downpipes supplied by the likes of AMD and MTM have 2 1/2 inch bore. They are in fact downpipes originally designed for the VW Golf 1.8T, AMD say Miltek will make custom connector to marry the two up or suggest I replace my Scorpion exhaust with their Miltek products which I would obviously like to avoid. Has anyone had this problem and can suggest a solution ? Any ideas would be greatly received.
