Default I would worry more about Tq then hp. But I would say no more then 270 hp thru a stock tip

tranny to be safe.

Default Eh. (Likely) More than most mods discussed here produce.

Us PES G2 guys with tips have yet to blow one up. I'm sure life time is getting reduced, but hey that's life.

I should point out that I don't drag race the thing or do lauches by holding down the brake to spin up the engine while the torque converter slips or anything like that. I bet is *is* possible to harm one.

Do you know if the Tip in an S4 is identical to the Tip in an A4?

It might be the same for the 2.8 motors but not for the 1.8's.

Tip is same for 1.8 and 2.8 (5HP19) 2.7 has a different unit (5HP25)
