Ok, well I have a '99 v6 30v. Some of you might have seem my posts looking for the schrick cams for my 30v but I can seem to find them anywhere. No, TAP doesn't sell them either. I've poored a lot of money into my car. You guys may have seem pictures of my car on the site. The Vocanoe Black with a! kit, zender roof spoiler, LLTek rear wing and MGR 18" rims. I've got the neuspeed p-chip, HKS mufler with 2.5" custom pipes to the cat (took out resonator) and I have done the intake mod also. I'm satisfied with the handling part...neuspeed race/bisltein sports and neuspeed 19" rear sway bar. I'm satisfied with the way the car looks. I'm not satified with the amount of power i get from my engine however. I'm not trying to get a race car here...just need a little bit more push and thats all i'm asking for. 10-20hp maybe? I'm not going to spend 5g on a super charger, not now atleast. So is there anything else that I can do other than cams to get 15hp-20hp for about 1G or so? Someone told me to get a new chip, maybe GIAC chip. But I'm thinking that even if the garret chip is better than the p-chip it can't give me THAT much more hp than the p-chip. I dont have turbo so a chip doesn't really make a huge difference. What else is there that I can do? Should I just put the 1G for other use like getting some speakers or subs for my car? What can i do to make my car faster?!?!?! Thanks in advance...

You can get the cams from www.rpi-equipped.com, or how bout some NOS?

Have you looked into throttle bodies? I know Vortrag has one for the 12V. With all the mods that you have so far, you can probably get another 10hp with a performance throttle body.

But that just shows that what you really want is more bang because you can't really feel the small improvement. Hence you really have to go with a PES.

However, if you really want to stay within a tight budget, then as someone suggested below, get a dry NOS kit - 20 shot - a mediocre sized tank will last a long time. Don't go any higher unless you want to spend more bucks upgrading a few more items such as ignition and spark plugs. If you are thinking of 50-75 shot, then forget it, get a PES first who did all the tuning for you.

Nope, Called them and they said they have nuttin for the 30V. MY engine is hopeless...

more with anything for a grand. Save the 1000$ and use that as a layway on a PES kit. Just do it. You'll be happy that you did
