Default How many HP are the coffee can mufflers the rice boys run worth?
Estimates to the nearest.1 hp please!

I am thinking about .2hp and they think 60-70hp.

Default I've heard that they can actually reduce HP by constricting exhaust gas flow
don't know if there is any truth to that, but it could make sense

Default If they have less back pressure then they will lose low end tq
but will allow more flow at high rpms and will give a hp gain up top.

Default Yea, on the right engine. Typically though, you'll see Folgers on the dumbest cars......
econo-boxes, tercels, non-Vtec small displacement hondas.....they have 1" OEM tailpipes....for a reason! ;-P
