Reason I ask is that my car has been at a body shop for two months now... and they recently diagnosed that my clutch wont disengage. Took it apart and they say the clutch is welded together. Now I personally drove the car to the shop, and had to baby it as there was a small radiator leak.
How much abuse does it take for this sort of thing to happen? Does it happen over time or immediately?
I am going to take a look today so I would like to have some sort of point to argue if they say it wasn't related to the fender bender.
Oh, its a Werks of Art Stage 3 w/LWFW that was replaced in November, and it hasnt been to the drags or on the track since replaced.. taught the ex to drive on it, but thats the worst abuse its taken. (regret that for more then 1 reason..)

clutch discs use a compound that shouldnt "weld" (or bind in that case)

(It is a puck clutch) we had to pry it off with a screw driver!
