CVT_A4

This is my first time posting in the Performance & Tuning Forum. I took my car to the track today and ....... my car is VERY SLOW.

It's totaly stock for now (1.8T). I'm just wondering how much should my ¼ mile time reduce after a chip ? 1 second ? Less, more ?!!

What do you guys think ?

I know my 60' sucks but you know how difficult it is to lunch with cvt. Also, that was my first time ever in track.

The track at 5860ft. above sea level. Don't tell me that turbocharged cars are not effected, they do but not as much as NA cars.

I'll practice lunching my car and hopefully get better 60' times so I could do 16.8 or maybe less ...

That 1.8T A4 Stage3 would have out run 180q if his launch didn't suck...pathetic performance by the S4s for the money spent on mods.

Maybe $6k once you add a FMIC and an exhaust. But when you think about it...a $12,000-$21,000 A4 1.8T between '97 and '01.5 + $6k for APR stage 3, FMIC and exhaust + another $2,500 for rims and tires + $700 for suspension = $21,200-$30,200. A comparable speed car would be an E46 M3 or a new S4. Both of those cars run low 13 1/4 miles BUT are between $50,000-$60,000. I don't find that sad, why do you?
