Default How strong are the transfer case and transmission in our cars?....Would

launching the car at 5000rpm hurt it and also if your car is low would that hurt it too?

Default lowered, no. lot's of power through 5-speed, probably.

There aren't really any "upgrades" short of using a different transmission. The 01E 6-speed is known to hold a lot more power. Or you can just throw used 2.8 trannies in when yours breaks.

Default FWIW, I think if you go much below 13.25" from the center of the hub to the wheel lip you can change

the geometry of the suspension parts such that axles are more likely to break when you launch.

Default why? The lower the car is, the straighter the axles are, right?

Less stress on the inner/outer CVs the closer the axle is to be completely level/straight?

Default I think the axles are close to straight already

so lowering could cause them to angle up towards the wheels.

WYSISWYG went through a couple axles, and I think he raised his car slightly because of it.

Default Yep. I had read elsewhere about that (lowering too far) changing the geometry and when WYSIWYG was

snapping them we discussed raising the car a bit. There are posts in this forum IIRC. Seems to have helped.
I've also read that (IIRC Stassis) says the links geometry goes south if you go much below that dimension and handling suffers. Lastly, I recall reading of a correllation between lowering beyond that point and the delamination of the front shock towers from the body at the firewall.

Default but if the car is low....would raising the tire pressure to 36-38psi be wise in order to...

to spin more freely, thus not that much stress to the drive terrain?
