I bought a used k04 kit.....
a few weeks back and it came with 30lb injectors and a 3 bar fpr. I installed the kit and it runs fine but i noticed that my 99 1.8t came with a 4 bar fpr and all the k04 kits i see online come with a 5 bar fpr. i was wondering if i should run a bigger fpr or not? the guy who had this kit before me ran a very low 14 with this setup so i dont know if i should just keep running the 3 bar fpr or what. Any info or suggestions would be great. thanks

You have to use the same fpr that the chip is tuned for.
If it is tuned for lower fuel pressure and larger injectors then that is what you must run. The kits that use the 5 bar fpr do so because it is tuned on the stock 240cc(22.85 lbs) where as your using 30 lbs (315cc) injectors on a lower 3 bar fpr. I would have to guess you have one of the GIAC 310cc injector chips.

Ive been wanting to see the difference between the gaic and wett k04 software...
you still have the awe k04 kit right? My setup is the one "btcca4" went a 14.1 with.
