i picked up my car from the dealer the other day after it was in for some seat work. my service manager mentioned to me that they couldn't get the car over 4k RPM and they thought something was wrong with it and they wanted to take another look at it. all of the guys at my dealer know i have done the Stage III upgrade because i spent 3 weeks working as an intern with them at the beginning of summer. the best part was when i asked him why they wanted to get it over 4k RMP in the 2 blocks it takes to get to the apolstry shop. you should have seen his face! priceless. that's exactly what valet mode is for.

How does switching back and forth work? The APR web page says that it is done at the crusie control stalk. Does that mean they add a flipswitch to the stalk, or that they reprogram the cruise control switch itself, or what? Just curious--I'm considering chipping and the APR set up looks sweet.
