I tried out the hyperboost by-pass valve last night...
... It didn't help solve my problem and my car still threw the negative deviation fault code. At least I didn't buy the hyperboost valve only to find out that 710n bpv wasn't my problem.
My new new 710n bpv is holding just fine.
Here is a graph of my car with the hyperboost valve in. It looks just the same as the other graphs... my car still has the trouble around 5600rpm.

Anyhow, for those that were in doubt (me), the 710n can hold the boost like everyone claims. Also, I was unsure if the flashy silver hyperboost valve would look bad down under my car but you can't really see it, so silver is fine.
Thanks to Flanders from ottawa-vdubbing for lending me the hyperboost valve and the use of his driveway for an hour to do the swap-swap.

You might just have a bad N75 valve
I have had that code come up for running too much boost, I also get a positive deviation code for running less boost then the chip was programmed for. So it is really hard to say what the code is being thrown from, the boost sensor or the N75 valve since both will cause those dtc's.

thread hijack..... about the pos & neg deviation
what levels do you have to run to get those codes? ive had mine @ .5 bar since the rebuild & before i frequently saw up to 1.8 bar & i dont ever remember seeing those codes.... wierd....

Pretty sure the programming has the thresholds out of whack somewhat
Some of the older GIAC k03/k04 software I had always managed to throw some kind of deviation code. I got a software update afterwords that cured the problem.
The problem however wasn't solved, the car just wouldn't go into limp mode anymore and still had the deviated boost...indicating there was some hardware still malfunctioning somewhere.

I never got the codes with the T28. But with the J31 I am
getting the positive deviation code when I run 1 bar to 1.25 bar since the chip is tuned to run 27psi. I also had neg deviation codes when I first put on the EVO fmic with my K03 chips.
