If the engine is sucking in more air, will it make it run lean?

The MAF will read the increased flow and the ECU will adjust fuel delivery accordingly.

It will if it is sucking that extra air between the MAF and the turbo.

It can if your injectors are maxed out, but I don't think you have that problem
