if i relocated DV to throttle body, will i run into problems??
because now its venting colder air to the MAF instead of hot air.. will this anyway damage the fragile MAF??

The idea is that when the throttle body closes, you have a pressure buildup and
it is optimum to vent that excess boost right there, instead of making the boost go all the way back through the intercooler and piping before it gets vented.
Wether or not there is a real world difference is questionable. At least if looks pretty cool...

In theory you can vent the boost quicker this way so
I guess the advantage is better response. Greddy actually told me that this valve will only support my HP plans if I relocate it. If nothing else it is easier to adjust now...

The returned air wont be colder than the fresh air (ambient)! So if anything should harm, it ...
...had to be hot air flowing to the MAF.
But it comes back after the MAF anyways, like xr4tic say, so no problems...
Its also an advantage to have the pressure in the intercooler and piping!
I guess I'll get a relocate DV for my next upgrade
Morten.
