Default I'm a Top 10 Vote Getter for the EC 1.8T contest! =)

Hi everyone!

I hope the car will be tested and tuned to its optimal. It would be great to beat some of those golfs at something! (They've got the handling and weight advantage on us.) I hope I don't break anything too. That'll be just too sad,...

Tell me who else got in! I hope there will be more A4's!

Cheers! I'll be at Waterfest too,...

Golf handling better than a AWD A4?? HA! A front driver will always be a front driver. If those things are putting down the power you will be, they'll shred their drive/steering tires...Not a good handling car if they can't turn ;-)

Default Going with my first set of DOT, r-comp tires

My worries are that they'll power out of the corners better. I don't have any diff mods whereas all these golfs bought quaifs. But we'll see right?!

You shouldn't have any problems ;-)

Quaifes only help so much on a FWD car...You cannot make a FWD car exit a corner like an AWD car can (under full throttle early).

Default Why would you need diff mods?

You already put power down to all 4 tires at the same time. A fwd car without a quaif is just a peg leg and only puts power down to the 1 wheel that can spin the easiest.

Default Anything helps,...

But I find that the Quattro system in our car puts out most of its power in the front wheels. It's when the back wheels start to get traction, then the car launches. I'm sure you've watched enough A4's launch, or even your own,... then you'll get what I mean.

But powering through corners with more control, it'll be nice,... especially at high rpms. But I won't be driving the A4 on the raod course,... the pros are going to do it,... =( Well, we'll see what they can do.
