INSTALATION OF UUC SHORT SHIFTER KIT
Hey i was wondering if i can get some directions on how to install the UUC SHORT SHIFTER KIT in my 2000 a4. IS it easy and possible for me to do it myself? How long will it take??

It takes some patience and planning. Use the right tools..
removal isnt that bad. They give you an extended hex key to get at the lower bolt.
When installing the UUC shifter use the dowel pin so that you can slide on the bolt when it is all the way down there.
You also need to remove the rubber stop for the shifter **** and place it on the new shifter.
Use vice grips to remove it by twisting it off (treat it with a lubricant like wd-40 prior to removal, give it 1/2-1 hour to sink in).
enjoy it took me close to 3 hours to do this, it was cold and dark.
