Default Intake filter maintenance

Hi, I added an EVO motorsports intake system on my A4 but no instructions for maintenance came with the filter and they NEVER reply to my emails. I have open filters on my H-D FatBoy and Buell X1 Lightning and all I do is use the K&N filter cleaner and oil kit. Can I do the same on my car air filter?

Thanks

Default be careful about over oiling the filter. loose oil will damage your maf....

only apply oil from the intake side of the filter. turn and/or invert the filter during drying. make sure there is no oil caught in the area where the filter material meets the rubber edge seal. let it dry for at least one full day. i used only 8 seconds of the aerosol oil spray to do my drop in
