Just done next initial stage run.
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/1185/gt30_16deg.jpg"></center><p>This time upped the boost to 24 psi and ignition advance to 16deg BTC
Still have plenty more scope in tuning.
Will soon now try and turn down boost, and turn up ignition advance and hopefully sit some wear near this result.
Getting there...

Re: Nice dyno....
I'd say Gt30r is about the biggest you should go to retain good driveability as well as keeping the turbo spooled inbetween shifts without the lag. Looks like you got a good all around combo that will make great top end as well as keep the boost responce and shifts nice and peppy with no delay.

No Offence taken.
Car will prove its self on track.
Its proven it self before with 12.1 sec pass
with a Lot of boost and low low HP on old setup.
So I decided to Put more Boost in, and lower the HP so i will get a quicker time.
Sorry to be sarcastic
but what do you call low low HP, something less than you make?
But you should know how to calculate torque from HP.
But if you dont, i got 387Ft/lbs at Crank.

volcom1875 - Do u have any clue?
Do u know how hard it is to acheive this sort of power at the wheels?
"Lot of boost and low low hp" you say?
We are talking 4 cylinders 1.8litre with a 2 litre crank and a turbo - it doesnt get much more impressive than 280 kw at the wheels - and tuning isnt even finished - let-a-lone the shot of NOS to come.
On top of that - the car is equipped and set up with Audi Motorsport solid lifters good for a 9500rpm limit. look at the dyno - he didnt even approach the cars redline.
How much HP does your car make?

Hello, I already make 434 whp on just 24psi.
Lucas is still only in the 375 whp range and I am doing it just with chip tuning.
His solid lifters wont mean anything unless his power band is up in that range which they are not. Others have used the solid lifter setup and found it to be a waste of money since all the setups so far peak out before 8k rpms, so there is no reaso to spend $3k to be able to run to 9500 rpms since you can go to 8K rpms on the stock lifters. So my point is why have a 9500 rev limiter if your power band ends at 8k rpms. Its like you taking your K03 all the way to 7500 rpms.
