this gap size. I know stock is .32. what gap tool should I use, they look different from other plugs I've seen.

Are you sure that is the plug for the 1.8T?

Try 0.028 inches (0.71mm) as a starting point for a chipped A4 1.8T...
...0.032 inches is OK for a car running 7-9psi of boost. Higher boost means more Nitrogen (from air) in the gap, thus greater resistance to spark travel.

you will be fine with thier stock gap
but.....they are a colder plug & can foul if you are a slow driver or don't really "work" the car enough to keep it up to temp
ive been running some for about 5k now & they have been good to me
dont forget to use a bit of "anti-sieze" on the threads before you install the plugs
