It's a cat back system that was fairly easy to install until we got to the cat. It was a real bitch getting to the three bolts that connect the downpipe to the cat. I was wondering if anyone knew an easier way to access the cat.

Default I think the factory assembled the Cat/DP...

...as an assembly before installing it on (in) the car.

The odds of removing all three bolts (from the bottom) without stripping/breaking something are about 10:1. Use the longest extensions you can find to access those bolts.

Otherwise, you'll need to remove a few heat shields >:-| to pull the cat/DP out from the bottom.

Spray a lot of WD-40 on the bolts and let it sit for a bit too.
