K04 on a 1.8t cvt.....is it possible barring the torque limits? Views please.

Might be fine if your willing to hold the boost down below 1 bar
this will give you a slight increase in power but you will have a nice flat tq curve over that of the chipped K03.

EEEK...I dunno about that....
I don't know much about the audi specific CVT and how much torque they can take, but is WAY different than applying torque to gears.
I'd try and find out what the CVT can hold for a maximum before trying anything.

Yup chipped to 195bhp, remus muffler, GFB dv and ECS N75. Think running close to 320Nm.............
which I believe is abt the highest the CVT can safely take.(the 3.0 cvt Torque output of 320nm)
