K04s with Stock ECU (A box)
I have been having problems with my 2000 S4 (just got it 3 months ago). The car is Audi Assured (BS warranty IMO). It looks like the turbos maybe on their way going south so my question is this: if they are bad and Audi wants to replace them should I fork over the difference for the K04s and have them install those instead? I would want to stay stock for another 6 months to a year. Would I have problems with it since the STOCK chip is not designed to work with the K04? Should I have them change the clutch, with RS4's. I have 45k miles on it and the clutch is fine. My car is BONE stock, (not even tint) Any issues at all? How about performance, any gain? What else should I have them change? (3rd party oil lines maybe) I did some searches and couldn't get all my questions answered.
p.s.
Has any one done this? Any comments?
I'm thinking of going stage 2+. (ARP chip, Borla G2, Le Bree with cats)
Thank you in advance, comments and suggestions are welcomed.

You can run stock programming & K04s, and from what I know you'll see a 15-20 hp gain. OEM programming will adapt fine, and providing everything else is in working order, you shouldn't have any problems.
We have the oil lines in stock. I'd expect a dealer to charge you upwards around 2-3 hours for install, with turbos. Maybe more.
If you're a good driver, and aren't going to beat on the car in stock form with K04s, a new clutch isn't necessary yet.
Good luck getting a dealer to do any of that for you though!

the clutch will start slipping with stage 2+
My brother has Borla G2, Le Bree with cats
i dont know what stage 2++? (MTM) but he is pushing 340-350hp with stock ko3's . His clutch is slipping from all that torgue. RS4 clutch is a must.
