Default

On my car it was the sway bar coming loose and detaching itself.

Default I have H&R C/Os and I get the same sound from right rear

I took the suspension apart and put it back together and torqued everything to spec and it's still making the same noise. I'll check the sway bar to see if it's loose.

Check the shock body to make sure the springs aren't rubbing against the strut shaft. This is what caused my groaning problem. H&R just fixed it with new rear struts that (unlike my original set) use the stock top shock mounts, plus new tapered mainsprings designed to avoid the rubbing. Worked like a charm. If it's not the coilovers, the rear swaybar would be a possible suspect, especially if it is after-market.

Default I have the G2 H&R C/Os. It's impossible for the springs to rub against the shock shaft.

I doubled checked that. I suspect it's either the swaybar or something is internaly wrong with that shock.

Default I orignally had the H&R c/o kit and was still getting the noise so I switched to the Koni's and it

is still there.I will check out the swaybar bolts and basically re-torque everything.Thanks.

Default Same with my H & R - right side, sometimes left.

Been doing it since they went in, got used to it after a while.
