Launch control excessive wheelspin
 

Hi all

Just got my A3 2.0TFSI and having some fun playing around. However, the launch control is bugging me as its pretty much doing the opposite of controlling my launch. My tyres just light up and spin for ages. Now I know I don't have the best tyres (stock) but I get better acceleration from just pulling off in efficiency mode from idle. I don’t have the Quattro which will contribute, but I thought the point of launch control was to get the most efficient launch, not just send all power to the wheels.

Can anyone shed some light for me?
