Least cost source for new/rebuilt K03 needed...
I need to replace the K03 on my '99 A4 -- this weekend, I discovered that it has more end- and side-play than I'm willing to accept -- and am looking for the least costly / quickest delivery source for a new or rebuilt K03. Any suggestions?
(Yes, I've thought about "upgrading" to a K04, but for my purposes -- daily street use, semi-serious autocross use -- I've decided the K03 is probably my best choice, its high-rpm limitations notwithstanding).

you know we could live in a perfect world ;)
Looks like a K03/K04 hybrid would do you well. It would retain the stock spoolup of the K03 while giving you the increase in the upper rpms you're looking for.
