Default lifters continued ... pic of my 90K miles engine (BWW)

They are going to replace all the lifters tomorrow. The speculation is that the lifters are old (91k miles) and some of them have some play on them.

They did a leakdown test as well... <3% across all 4 cylinders. Now if only I can figure out why car isn't boosting. The more I think about it... the more I think it's a clogged cat.

Default Are you flying in this weekend?

I'm going to try to get out there, but we're packing up the apt for movers coming on Sunday. I was going to come with Ray, but may drive out on my own cuz I can't stay too long.

Default Unfortunately no. $$$ will be spent somewhere else...

besides the lifters, they need to figure out why the turbo isn't boosting. My speculations are: turbo is dead or the cat is clogged. Either way, it's gonna cost me another shiny penny to get that resolved.
