lifters continued ... pic of my 90K miles engine (BWW)
<center><img src="http://www.2limited.com/images/K04/90k_engine.JPG"></center><p>They are going to replace all the lifters tomorrow. The speculation is that the lifters are old (91k miles) and some of them have some play on them.
They did a leakdown test as well... <3% across all 4 cylinders. Now if only I can figure out why car isn't boosting. The more I think about it... the more I think it's a clogged cat.

Are you flying in this weekend?
I'm going to try to get out there, but we're packing up the apt for movers coming on Sunday. I was going to come with Ray, but may drive out on my own cuz I can't stay too long.

Unfortunately no. $$$ will be spent somewhere else...
besides the lifters, they need to figure out why the turbo isn't boosting. My speculations are: turbo is dead or the cat is clogged. Either way, it's gonna cost me another shiny penny to get that resolved.
