List of components to replace when installing suspension?
Anyone have a list of components like bushings, washers, nuts, etc that should be replaced not reused when installing shocks/springs in an A4?
GOing to do so this weekend and want to stop by the dealership ASAP to order whatever I may need.
Thanks,

This should not require any extra parts.
Off the top of my head, the only part you might need is the nut at the top of shock piston for the front shocks only. If your new shocks have a different thread, then the nut should be supplied with your shocks. If the threads are the same as the stock shocks, then just re-use the stock nut.
What springs/shocks are you installing, perhaps this info will help?
Do you have a spring compressor?

I'm installing koni coilvers....
And don't yet have a spring compressor.
I originally thought they came assembled, and that I would get by with some cheap compressors. But alas, they are in pieces, and I have to make do
The fronts did come with some nuts, so perhaps I won't have to buy anything. That'd be nice.

well, i didnt replace any of the "stretch" bolts and now my car clunks on bumps
i have to re-tighten it every month or so.
im gong to go down there and get some new bolts soon.
look at the torque specs, every bolt that calls for a specifed torque plus X degrees of a turn,
those are the "stretch" bolts and can only be tightened once
unfortunatley i dont have the torque info, but ask around someone will have the specs

Re: I'm installing koni coilvers....
It sounds to me like you will not need any extra parts, but you will need a spring compressor. You will need a spring compressor to get the factory springs off, and you may or may not need the compressor for the new coilovers.
Audiboy has hands-on experience with these coilovers....

Charlie, can you give me more details on these "stretch" bolts?
I installed an H&R coilover setup in my car and I'm experiencing clunking as well -- and retightening the bolts is losing its effectiveness at silencing the clunk.
Where did you get the info that these bolts are "stretch" bolts?
