Default A little more on Eurospec.

Owner checked some parts on the short block and found:
"mike from momentum tuning had a piston pin fail also.costing him a complete engine also.we did a ck on the block and it is a mexican test block should not have been sold in the us it should have been thrown away.and the rods are weaker than stock.also the bearings that came out of my engine were from a 1.8 normally asperated early vw mid 80s nice ha"

Beware guys, this looks ugly and I KNOW its true.

Default I've heard the crank isn't well balanced at all either from a friend

who has one and has had issues with it.
