Did you ever get that 6-speed bolted up to your 1.8T?

The trans will bolt up to any engine '96 or newer. However, you would need all brackets, front and center driveshafts, and the friction plate, and the shift linkage. Trans alone is big bank, so it doesn't look like something people will be doing. I have access to a 6 speed, but even axles are spendy...
