Canton offers both a 4" and a 6" remote oil filter.

Would I benefit from the larger 6" setup, or would it be bad.. I am thinking maybe a loss in pressure? Anyone have experience with them?

between filter element changes. Larger doesn't filter better or more but it does last longer. Ideally it would be a good idea as the difference in costs between the two elements on the oil side only amount to a 22.23% increase over the smaller system while allowing a 75% increase in service life. And if you keep your remote location and plumbing as short as possible you'll be fine as Audi across the board provides a lot of short-run creativity for a remote mounting point.

Standard 2.625" elements cost $11.25ea while the larger filter is $13.75, only $2.50 (22.23%) more. Yet the larger filter has a 75% increase in filter media surface area which transfers to 75% increased life. If you do 10k mile element changes with the smaller element you could extend that to 17.5k miles with the larger element.

Dont dismiss their fuel filters summarily either. Their 1 micron element is probably the best filtration for our fuel injection that money can buy, bar none, PERIOD!
