Default MikeO...Question about your custom set-up. Do you have an approx HP figure, and have you had to

replace the MAS airflow sensor due to the turbo upgrade. I am working on my own custom set-up and I am in the thick of the research phase. If you get bored and want to answer some more questions read further.

What is the current flow on your injectors?

Was the programming done at a shop near you or did you have to try various programs and tweak the fuel maps? (I ask this because the shop that will be tuning the car is a long way away)

Any pointers, hints, tips, would also be appreciated.

I had Wett programming and dumped it in favor of GIAC. It took a little back and forth but I now have a program that has ZERO short and long term fuel trim.

The only way to properly tune a setup remotely is with a VAG-COM. Get one. You need to data log five to seven pieces of info for a tuner to work with. If you are going GIAC, make sure you are dealing with one of his dealers that is willing to do this. I got lucky with the person I connected with.

Default thanks. I have the vag-com. I am pretty sure the guys will do anything I need to get the tuning

right. My friend does a lot of work for them.

Have you had a chance to install your T3/T4 turbo yet?? Any idea how much power that will churn?

Default Not yet....

...got a lot on my plate. I am actually contemplating dumping a 1.8T Quattro drivetrain into a 4000 Quattro. If I go that route, the T3/T04E is going there.
