Default Mobil-1 0w30 is NOT claiming ACEA-A2/A3. How bad is it?

Dear Forum,
i read a lot of discussion on oils, and as i understood Mobil-1 tri-synthetic 0w30 has been regarded as good/suitable/etc.
BUT on the bottles that I got from the store there are no ACEA-A2 or A3 compliance claim, only ACEA-A1. (Manual requests A2 or A3.)
Am I missing something?
Is this oil missing something?
TIA

Default No 30W oil meets the 2/3 standard. You need to go to 40W to meet the spec.

Use the Mobil 1 0W-40 "European Car Formula"

Default Re: No 30W oil meets the 2/3 standard?! How can the manual request it then?

I must be misinterpreting something then -- the manual says:

The following terms must appear on the oil container singly or in combination with other designatins:
- API Service SJ
- ACEA A2 or ACEA A3
<end>

How could Audi require A2-A3 if no 0w30 oil would meet it?

Default It's one of a few little Audi manual quirks. They mention topping off with 0W-30, 5W-30 or 5W-40 but

only 5W-40 meets the spec. The reasoning is this: the A2/A3 standard is for cars that are driven at Autobahn-type speeds (100+ mph) for extended periods of time.

Since this isn't the case for most US roads, they consider the 30W oil to provide sufficient protection. But the manual is definitely vague in this area, no doubt about it.

Default The lack of clarity because, within certain broad limits, the oil doesn't matter

This is why Audi does not specify just 2 oils, yet still will warranty their cars for 100,000 miles. Our engines are highly detuned, so unless you're pushing the limits (and no stockers or even 2+'ers are), the oil in large part does not matter.

Default Amsoil 0W30 states ACEA-A2/B2 compliance -- True!...

Thanks!
I also found this product, but Amsoil is a PITA to get. If I could get it locally, I would go with it, but for some reason no local store carries it!

After analyzing my typical use and the details of ACEA-A2/A3 (the posted link was quite useful), I decided that *for me* it is not of paramount importance to be A2/A3 compliant. So I went with Mobil-1 0w30, which I got in Walmart for $19.00/gallon.
The only way to get Amsoil that I found, is on their Internet store, and it would be about $35.00.
