Default Mustang Dynomometer runs don't make any sense -- See attached

At least to me they don't make sense. I had these done a few months ago with my supercharger and it just looks like useless information. Any assistance would be appreciated

It's still a bit fuzzy, can you scan just the graph portion at high res and post?

Looks like the torque didn't take into effect the gear ratios and tires....

Default You can actually see the shift points in the graph. My guess is that it just started getting into

4th when it was shut down

My concern is interpreting the data: Should be 280 ho 260 torque

Default Well, that shows 200hp at the wheels...

so factor in the roughly 20% loss, and you've got 250hp.

Somebody posted that Mustang dynos have a 27% loss, which is about 275 hp. If it's an automatic, I'd say it's more towards the 275 side than the 250....

Would the 27% loss also go for torque?

Default Yes....

Torque and HP are directly related. You can calculate Torque from HP and vice versa.

Torque = HP x 5250 / RPM

Default Hey. let's have that whole percentage loss versus constant loss debate again!

Not.
