My car just died~
while driving, the engine completely shut down all of a sudden. No power steering, no power assist braking.....
any idea why my engine completely shut down all of a sudden while the car is running?
this happened twice already. the first time i thought the car is low in engine oil. after i put some in, the car runs fine.
but wat had happened this time?

Actually I have 3 cars that DO RUN.
My Audi is a project car which is worked on for "FREE" by a shop that is one of my sponsors and works on it on their free time. I have no control of when it gets done, when it gets done everyone will know about it.
Why does your 1994 S4 have such low miles, do you actually drive it?

So? I have 8. Want the VIN's?
And I guess we all have our own definition of a project car. To me, it's a car that you drive for fun that you work on yourself. I guess I'd rather spend the money and know what happens to my car than have to beg someone to work on my car that they probably don't give 2 chits about since it's costing them money to turn a wrench on it. You get what you pay for, friend. But different strokes, I guess.
Haven't updated my sig in a while. The '94 has 120k on it right now and I haven't driven it regularly in a while since work has been so crazy. Between the work vans, my '91 V8Q and other cars that are much better suited to visiting clients, I only drive the S4 on the weekends, if that.
And I believe you that your car will be done one day, but until it is, 500HP claims are pretty much useless unless you have the dyno/timeslips to back it up. Until then, your car's an overpriced, shiny cupholder, as all project cars are at some point.
