N75 valve revisions...
I have the OEM N75 (not sure what part number or revision that is...) and I notice that the Vortex kids are often swapping the valves around...
I have the evo motorsports BPV, and a 2.5 turbo back exhaust, and APR chip...
while the BPV cleaned up my boost curve dramatically, it still feels a BIT off... like there is still a little flutter there.
has anyone here played with the N75 revisions here, beyond the ECS tuning one... I had also heard the Beetle Turbo S one in use as well...
thoughts?

Looking for answers myself...
The ECS "Race Valve" is # 034906283 H
With the same numbers but with "F" or "J" at the end there are different versions out.
Seems like the latest trend is to use the "J" version.
I'm sure somebody can let us know what the differences are, I believe some versions are used on S-cars / RS2's.
Word is that with low boost chips the ECS valve works fine (I had it on a '98 with the Autothority chip, no probs, higher boost) while there might be probs with another valve with higher boost chips. I still try to find out which valve might work best with the '03 GIAC 91 Octan chip.
Anybody???

see, I am nto looking to ADD boost, I am peaking in the low 20s, and holding 17 or so...
I don't think much more boost is gonna make a huge difference on the stock k03... I am near the edge of its abilities anyway...
I amjust unclear as to whether or not it is a wear and tear item and if I would benefit from the swap... since it isn't that much cash...
hmmm... I may have to just pick a few up and see how they feel...

What about switching to a straight adjustable boost controller?
Adjust it to 17psi where you say you stable out at, and see what it feels like then?
I have one laying around, I should try it on my K04'd GIAC A4? Hmmmm....
But the ecu adjusts boost levels a little based on altitude, intake temps, & MAF/o2 sensor readings, making a different N75 the better solution, maybe....
