Default NE1 with Profec B spec2 / Stg3 experience? slight surging..

yes, yes.. some will scorn me for running it..
but to be honest, i have seen them run very well.
i was sick of having my boost bleed off up top with a apr stg3..
my question is after getting my settings pretty dialed:
spiking 1.32, holding at 1.24 all the way up.. i now have this
rythmic surging.. not random..
could it be my solinoid or the bpv? mine is a nice billet upgraded valve..
i was having some sputter type surge before switching to the
profec but i think i had a faulty boost valve somewhere that ireally wouldnt be using while using the profec.. blah i dunno..
sorry, longpost here...

Default Quite a few guys w/ DBW run the Spec I .. SPEC II was very problematic IIRC.

In fact I believe it was ishy enough that the type S was released to replace the II.

That said, most DBW folks use it to dial boost down to ~19 psi ... not up. The kit holds boost to redline if everything is okay. If you were losing boost at the top you likely have (had) another issue, IMO.

Have you played with the gain to see if you can dial the surge out?
