I want to install the K 04 only at this time (eventually changing to "proper" K 04 software), I run a .8 bar chip. Now the question, should I go for the 5 bar FPR at this stage already? At the same time I will go for a 2.5" exhaust, TB, no resonator, muffler. The reason why I ask is that I don't want to run too lean at higher rpm's. Another point is that we only have 91 gas at 5,000' elevation. Almost forgot, it's an AEB engine.

Any thoughts?

You should be OK with the stock 4bar FPR and 0.8 bar software if you install the 2.5" cat-back exhaust when the K04 goes in. The additional flow of the exhaust (vs stock) will help keep EGTs reasonable.

Just don't think you can ride around at 6K rpm(i.e. run it on the track) and not have problems.

k03 chip...it ran better than it is now...5 bar flooded my car fast...2-4 hours...went back to 4 bar
