Need Performance Parts sales help...Please help!...cross posted to A4 Forum
I need some help from you guys who have wheeled and dealed your performance parts...
I have a brand new set of StopTech brakes for the 97-01 A4, never installed (still shrinkwrapped!) that I need to sell. I've not had any success selling them in the classified's here, but maybe my ad copy is bad. I also didn't do too well on eBay...but in both these cases I didn't give it too much time (I can't wait too long).
I NEED to sell these immediately, and have already said I'll take a huge loss. The kit currently costs $1795 (black calipers, cross-drilled rotors), and the Pagid pads and rear braided lines add $250 to that. I also added cross drilled temp-coated rear discs and Mintex rear pads to this kit...again, never installed. This all comes to about $2600 worth of stuff. At this point, I'm willing to take the $1800 (plus shipping, about $70) the plain kit costs just to get the sorely needed money (family emergency).
Does ANYONE have a recommendation on where I can list this kit for sale? Please help me out here, folks, I am in dire need of the money and would sell body parts if my body were worth anything!
If somebody had the time, they'd probably be able to sell this stuff for more...I DON'T have the time.
Help me out, please!

P.S. I also have some used parts, like SSR Competition wheels (17x8.5) w/Kumho 235/40 tires (5k miles), that I could sell too...how do you guys make out when you sell used stuff?
