Default Need suggestions for a decent spring compressor in the $40-60 range...

...getting ready for my coil over install, and I dont want to screw around with some chewed up free loaner POS from AutoZone. Ive got time to mail order, but Im not sure where to look.

By default, the current front runner is the $40 model from Sears. Pretty plain jane...but maybe thats all I need?

Actually I had a buddy get one from Autozone and it was identical the one at sears. It had 2 long bolts, two perches with quick release pins. It was nice and would hold up for a long time or many uses. I think the $40 one from Sears is the same thing he got.

Wow, thanks - I think we have a winner. Only one bolt too - nice!

Hooks are too fat for the rear springs on your car.

****e! You just saved me some serious frustration. Is Sears/AutoZone the only option?

Default Just bear hug it.....

if you end up having to go with Auto Zone, just rent it...those things are shyte and not worth $50.
