neuspeed short shifter rocks
nuetral -> 1st, schnickity schnick
1st -> 2nd, yay
2nd -> 3rd, wooo

my friend w/ 2001 has 1st -> 2nd syncro grind. stock shifter. dunno how it feels myself but it's barely audible.
havent noticed any grind noises after the install on my 99.5. i have about 37kmiles on it now. hopefully having new clutch installed in the next few weeks. (warranty work) damn flood. =b

Have you changed your tranny oil yet. It is wise to do it at 60K miles. I get a grind going from
2nd to 3rd when I shift fast while racing the car. But it is fine on the streets and I have 64K on my car that is 1.5 years old. The problem is the oil is breaking down when it gets real hot. So time to change to some redline tranny oil.

Juan is looking this up for me since we need to change mine before this friday. You could always
call up an audi dealer and ask. Juan said he thinks it is 3 qts. Try calling Velocity and asking Jeff he sells the redline oil too.
