I just replaced my UUC with Neuspeed minutes ago...
...and like the feel of the Neuspeed better. Yeah it's short, but the slop that the UUC had is GONE. It seemed that the ball joint on the UUC shifter was over-machined and there was some annoying slop in the pivot. Lots of people DO like UUC. Even the Audi service guys said that some slop is normal. My personality just wouldn't tolerate it, though. If you still want the UUC, e-mail me and I'll make you a sweet deal on one. ;-)

Hehe - another satisfied customer. I'm with you Damon..........
After driving both kits, I much prefer the Neuspeed - it's tighter and "snick"ier IMHO.
How do you like the reduced height?

I'm not sure I'd say it has less play....
My UUC is very tight and I'm really happy with it. I do like the shorter Neu. SS however, but I think that the play should be the same. I have read the posts from folks that have had play issues with the UUC and the only thing I can think of is that they have not gotten it lined up and correctly linked to the shifter linkage.
