hi folks - ready to pull the trigger on a 1.8T 6 speed quattro. APR stage II coming after 1,000 miles. Just got done with the 24 hour test drive (very relunctant to hand keys back to salesdude). Mine should be here in 2 weeks or so (stealership trade). Only gripe I had was the lack of low end grunt (1500 on the tach). After chipping, how's the 'subjective feel'. I can read the dyno graphs and see that the APR stg I+ and up significantly bumps up the torque along with giving you something to work with under 3000 rpm, but how's the daily driving stuff feel with a chipped motor? Would greatly appreciate feedback. Love the B6, can't wait to get mine!

even with a chip, don't expect usable torque under 2K. having said that i did notice a marked increase in low end torque after chipping.

Very true. Thanks for the feedback. It did feel reasonably strong once north of 2500 rpm's and I'm sure that it'll get better after break-in and chipping. How's the mileage running after break-in? Prior to filling up, I almost went into cardiac arrest ($1.92/gallon - up $0.18/gallon in the past week here in Richmond, VA).
